House by the Railroad, 2019, 40 x 30 cm

Edward Hopper's great paintings and atmospheric light arrangements are outstanding and real great art. House by the Railroad (1925) of are one of my favourite pictures of him, so I composed my version of it.

Hommage á Calder, 1991, 67,3 x 14,8 Dedicated to Alexander Calders "Mobiles" found in the Folkwang Museum in Essen, where I spend a lot of time during my studies in the 80ies.

A Mediterranean Cup

A Mediterranean Cup, 2000, 38 x 28 cm Had a good french coffee and a very interesting time on a trip to the Provence (France) in the year 2000. I visited the Fondation Vasarely in Aix-en-Provence because Victor Vasarely is one of my favourite artists. That is why there is a sort of "OP-Art" in this picture. The brown and orange color are made of the earth colored of Roussillon (Vaucluse).
