Zimmer, 1985, 47,8 x 35 cm

You will see a lot of patterns in my work. A background can even be more important than it's foreground. Zimmer (Room) was definitely inspired by M.C. Escher's lithographs. I loved his distored perspectives and repetable patterns. By the way: none my watercolors shown here are made with the help of a computer or 3D software.
